Why learn Spanish?

Spanish is the third most spoken language, spoken by almost
600 million people around the world.
Spanish is the most common second language learned in Europe & USA.
Spanish is becoming a business requirement.

My first objective in creating this website was to show the variety and richness that represent the Spanish Language in the world. You will find here a mosaic of cultures, accents, countries, regions, traditions and landscapes, each with its own beauty. There is also a more technical part related to the Spanish grammar and vocabulary that can help you if you are beginner. Additionally you will find informative links that I will update frequently for you. Enjoy it!

About me

My name is Judith and I am a Spanish teacher living in the USA. I moved to California from the beautiful northwest of Spain, Galicia, in 2011. I have a Master's degree in Spanish and Romance Languages from the University of Santiago de Compostela. I taught Spanish for several years in Spain, France, England and Germany in various institutions, to students of different levels and ages. My profession is my passion. I would be proud to be part of your learning and I hope my website will help you reach your objective.

Santiago de Compostela

Santiago de Compostela is the capital of Galicia. Besides being one of my favorite places in the world, it's also an amazing city full of history, culture, life and enjoyment. It is the final destination of the Camino de Santiago or Way of Saint James, a medieval pilgrimage route dating back to the 9th century. The 2010 film The Way, written and directed by Emilio Estevez and starring his father Martin Sheen, is a great example of the experience taking this pilgrimage can give you.
I invite all of you to visit my homeland and to discover a magical and charming place that you won't easily forget.
